Switch Between Glow-Only and Glow-with-Borders Variants

Choose Your Visual Style

The Seamless Glowing Ores pack offers two display modes. The glow-only variant shows ore blocks shining brightly without connected outlines, while the glow-with-borders variant adds clear lines that join touching ores of the same type into unified shapes.

How to Switch Variants

1. Locate your resource pack folder in your Minecraft directory

2. Find the Seamless Glowing Ores pack in your installed packs list

3. Access the pack options through Minecraft's resource pack settings menu

4. Select your preferred variant from the available options

5. Apply the changes and restart your game or reload chunks

If your launcher doesn't show variant options, you may need to manually select between two separate pack versions. Check your resource packs folder for files labeled with "glow" or "borders" in their names.

Performance Note

Both variants are lightweight at 121 KB total, so switching between them won't impact your frame rate. Choose based on whether you prefer a cleaner look or want the visual satisfaction of seeing connected ore veins clearly outlined.
