Disable Screenshot File Saving
Why disable file saving?
By default, Screencopy Mod copies screenshots to your clipboard *and* saves them to your screenshots folder. If you only need the clipboard copy and want to avoid cluttering your file system, you can disable file saving entirely.
How to disable it
1. Open your mod configuration folder (usually .minecraft/config)
2. Locate the Screencopy Mod config file
3. Find the option related to saving screenshots to disk or file output
4. Set it to false or disabled
5. Save the config file and restart Minecraft
After this change, taking a screenshot will copy the image to your clipboard only—no file will be written to your screenshots folder. This is useful if you're sharing screenshots frequently and don't need a local archive, or if you want to reduce disk I/O.
Reverting the change
If you want to resume saving screenshots as files, simply re-enable the option in the config file and restart the game.
