Set Up Your First BedWars Arena

Define the Arena Boundaries

Use admin commands to mark your arena space. Stand at one corner of your arena and run /bw admin <arena> pos1 to set the first extreme point. Move to the opposite corner and run /bw admin <arena> pos2. This creates the cuboid region that will be rebuilt after each game.

Configure Teams and Spawns

Add teams using /bw admin <arena> team add <team> <color> <max players>. For each team, set their spawn location with /bw admin <arena> team spawn <team> and their bed location with /bw admin <arena> team bed <team>. Target the bed block directly when setting bed positions.

Set Game Parameters

Define how many players are needed to start with /bw admin <arena> minplayers <minimum>. Set the countdown duration before the game begins using /bw admin <arena> pausecountdown <seconds>. Configure total game time with /bw admin <arena> time <seconds>. Finally, set the lobby position where players spawn when joining with /bw admin <arena> lobby, and the spectator position with /bw admin <arena> spec.

Your arena is now ready for players to join!
