Understanding Disease Effects from Reading SCP-1025 Pages

How the Book Works

Each page in SCP-1025 describes a specific disease or harmful effect. The moment you read a page, your character contracts that exact disease or receives that effect. This is not reversible by simply closing the book.

Reading Pages Safely

1. Before opening the book, prepare for potential consequences

2. Have healing items or antidotes ready if you know what effect you're about to receive

3. Read only one page at a time

4. Close the book immediately after reading

Managing Multiple Effects

If you've read multiple pages and accumulated several diseases:

• Some effects may stack or interact unpredictably
• Use appropriate potions or items to counteract negative effects
• Milk buckets can remove certain status effects
• Some diseases may require specific cures depending on the mod's configuration

Experimental Reading

If you're testing the book's contents, do so in a controlled environment away from important structures or mobs that might take advantage of your weakened state.
