Preparing Your Base Against SCP-058

Defensive Construction

SCP-058 actively destroys blocks while pursuing targets, so standard walls may not hold. Build defenses using:

• Thick barriers: Use multiple layers of solid blocks (at least 2-3 blocks deep)
• Reinforced doors: Install heavy doors that close completely with no gaps
• Elevated structures: Build your base on pillars or high platforms—the entity can climb walls but may have difficulty reaching extremely high areas
• Isolated rooms: Create separate chambers so the creature cannot access your entire base if it breaches one section

Perimeter Security

Surround your base with:

• Clear space to spot the entity approaching
• Trenches or barriers that slow its movement
• Well-lit areas (the creature may avoid bright light, though this is not guaranteed)

Safe Room

Designate a final refuge with maximum protection: thick walls, minimal openings, and emergency supplies.
