Detecting SCP-058 Before It Attacks

Recognizing Warning Signs

SCP-058 announces its presence before striking. Pay close attention to:

• Ominous messages appearing in your chat when the entity is within 10 blocks
• Unusual sounds or disturbances in the environment
• Block destruction occurring nearby—the creature smashes through obstacles in its path
• Movement patterns that seem unnatural or impossibly fast

Staying Alert

When exploring dangerous areas:

• Keep your sound on or subtitles enabled to catch audio cues
• Watch for sudden block damage or terrain changes
• Stay away from dark enclosed spaces where the entity could corner you
• Travel with other players when possible—the creature will target multiple entities, creating opportunities for escape

The 10-block detection radius gives you a brief window to react. Use the warning messages as your signal to either prepare defenses or relocate to safety immediately.
