Shadow Person

The Shadow Person is a hostile entity added by this mod. It is summoned with the Shadow Person Spawn Egg rather than spawning naturally, so you control when and where it appears.

Its defining trait is that it consumes light. Placing it in a lit area will not keep you safe for long, since the light around it is drained away. Once the area is dark, the Shadow Person attacks players.

This makes it dangerous indoors and underground, where it can strip the light from torches and leave you fighting in darkness. Fighting it in a well-lit open space is safer, but expect the light to fade as the fight goes on. Bring your own light source and be ready for the area to go dark around you.

It is a single-purpose mob: spawn it, let it eat the light, and deal with it before the darkness spreads.
