What Scalable Cat's Force Does

Scalable Cat's Force is a library mod rather than a content mod. It exists to support other mods that are written in Scala, providing the Scala standard library that Minecraft removed starting in 1.13.2. If you install a Scala-based mod on a modern version of the game, that mod may fail to load on its own because the standard library it depends on is no longer bundled with Minecraft. Scalable Cat's Force fills that gap.

For players, this means the mod is almost always installed as a dependency alongside another mod, not for its own sake. You will not find new blocks, items, mobs, or recipes here. Its entire purpose is to make Scala mods function correctly.

If a Scala mod you want to use lists Scalable Cat's Force as a required dependency, install it in the same mods folder. Without it, the dependent mod will likely crash or refuse to start. On its own, it does nothing visible in-game.
