Understanding Hazardous Zones

Hazardous zones are areas of the abandoned city contaminated with skint minerals and environmental dangers. These zones are rich with loot but pose serious risks. The Watcher—an ominous mob—spawns whenever you enter these areas and actively hunts you.

Preparation and Strategy

Before entering a hazardous zone:

• Ensure your spacesuit is in good condition
• Bring combat equipment and healing items
• Use a drivable vehicle if available—it shields you from harsh conditions and provides mobility
• Plan an escape route back to safe territory

Managing the Watcher

When the Watcher appears, avoid direct confrontation if possible. Use the vehicle's speed to create distance, or retreat to your bunker. If you must fight, use ranged weapons and keep moving. Never linger in one spot.

Watch for three skint types in these zones: Regular Skint expands outward during dimension shifts, Antiskint reduces your maximum health on contact, and Infected Skint spreads corruption. Minimize contact with all skint varieties and prioritize collecting loot efficiently before retreating to safety.
