Multiplayer Marking Strategy

On multiplayer servers, ping markers placed from drones are visible to all players. This makes drones an excellent reconnaissance tool for team coordination.

Coordinating Markers

1. Fly your drone to scout an area your team needs to work on

2. Mark key points: resource deposits, building sites, danger zones

3. Land your drone and share the marker locations with teammates

4. Teammates can see your markers on their maps and in their own drone views

5. Use different marker types to indicate different purposes (meeting point, resource, hazard, etc.)

Team Communication Tips

• Establish a marking convention with your team (e.g., red for danger, green for resources)
• Mark perimeter points when scouting base locations
• Use markers to highlight mob spawners or dangerous terrain
• Combine drone reconnaissance with ground-level markers for complete coverage
• Clear old markers once objectives are complete to avoid map clutter
