What Save My Stronghold Does

Save My Stronghold is a small, single-purpose mod that stops the world generator from carving up Strongholds. In vanilla Minecraft, terrain generation and structure placement can intersect a Stronghold, cutting it into disconnected pieces or leaving rooms and corridors broken apart. This mod prevents that damage, so the Stronghold generates as a coherent structure instead of a sliced-up one.

Why It Matters

Strongholds are the gateway to The End, so a damaged or fragmented layout can make navigation frustrating for players who rely on them. By keeping the Stronghold intact, the mod preserves the intended dungeon experience and adds immersion for veteran players. It also holds up alongside other world-shaping mods, continuing to protect Strongholds from being messed up by additional terrain changes.

How to Use It

Install the mod like any other Forge mod for your Minecraft version. No configuration or in-game commands are described; the protection applies automatically during world generation. Existing worlds generated before installing the mod will not be retroactively repaired.
