Stop Mobs from Breaking Your Base Walls

Disable Horde Block Breaking

The most direct way to protect your base is to turn off the block-breaking mechanic entirely. Open the mod's configuration menu and locate the Horde Block Breaking toggle. Disable it to prevent hostile swarms from destroying your walls, doors, and defensive structures.

Use Block Hardness Scaling Instead

If you want to keep the mechanic but make it less threatening, adjust the Block Hardness Scaling setting. This multiplier makes certain blocks more resistant to mob damage without removing the feature entirely. Increase the value to make obsidian, reinforced stone, or your chosen defensive blocks much harder for mobs to break through.

Combine with Block Regeneration

Enable Block Regrowth to automatically repair damage over time. Mobs may break through, but your walls will slowly heal. This creates a sustainable defense without needing constant repairs—though regeneration speed depends on your configuration settings.

Strategic Block Placement

Use materials with naturally high blast resistance or configure them as unbreakable in the horde settings. Pair this with the sight range adjustments to keep mobs from even detecting your base from far away.
