Make Mobs Stop Chasing You Across the Map
Reduce Chase Distance
Hostile mobs in this mod will pursue you across massive distances by default. To limit this, open the configuration and find the Sight Range or Chase Distance setting. Lowering this value forces mobs to give up the hunt after you travel far enough, preventing endless pursuits across your world.
Disable Persistent Chasing
If you want mobs to stop following you entirely after leaving an area, look for the Persistent Chasing or Long-Range Pursuit toggle and disable it. Mobs will still attack nearby, but won't track you across biomes.
Use Game Stages for Progression
If the mod has Game Stages compatibility enabled, you can lock aggressive chase behaviors behind day-count timers. This means early-game mobs won't pursue you relentlessly—only as your world ages and you reach later stages will they gain this ability.
Create Safe Zones
Combine reduced chase settings with strategic base placement far from spawn. Mobs are less likely to find you if you're beyond their default sight range and you've disabled long-distance tracking.
