Control Which Mobs Join Your Local Horde Swarms
Access the Mob Selection Menu
Open the mod's configuration and navigate to the Horde Composition or Mob Selection menu. This interface shows all creatures that can join hostile swarms in your world.
Blacklist or Whitelist Specific Mobs
You can either remove dangerous mobs from swarms or create a whitelist of only the mobs you want to face. For example, disable Creepers to prevent explosive swarms, or remove Endermen to avoid teleporting attackers. Each mob can be toggled individually.
Adjust Mob Recruitment Rules
The Horde Mentality setting controls whether nearby mobs automatically join a chase when they spot an ally hunting you. Lowering this value makes swarms smaller and less coordinated, giving you better odds in combat.
Progressive Mob Unlocking
Use Day-Count Timers to unlock dangerous mobs only after your world reaches a certain age. Early days might only spawn Zombies and Skeletons, while Creepers and Witches join swarms later. This creates natural progression and prevents overwhelming early-game threats.
