How to Build and Command a Shadow Army Using Arise

The Arise skill transforms defeated custom monsters and bosses into loyal shadow soldiers that fight alongside you. Building a powerful shadow army requires strategic boss defeats and proper skill investment.

Defeating Bosses to Recruit Shadows

Progress through ranked dungeons and challenge the forty-two available bosses. Each boss you defeat can be converted into a shadow soldier. Higher-tier bosses (A-rank and S-rank) produce significantly stronger shadows. Focus on bosses that complement your playstyle—some excel at ranged attacks, others at melee or crowd control.

Summoning and Strengthening Your Army

Once you've defeated a boss, use the Arise skill to summon it as a shadow. You can control multiple shadows simultaneously, though the exact limit depends on your Dominion skill level. Invest skill points into Dominion to strengthen all summoned shadows, increasing their damage output and survivability.

Rotate which shadows you summon based on the dungeon type. Shadows retain their original abilities, so a fire-based boss shadow works well in cold dungeons. Experiment with different combinations to discover synergies that maximize your combat effectiveness.
