Remove a Fake Name and Restore the Real Name

Clearing a Fake Name

To stop displaying a fake name and return to the original:

1. Open chat

2. Type: /fakename clear [player]

3. Replace [player] with the username whose fake name you want to remove

4. Press Enter

The player will immediately revert to displaying their real account name.

For Your Own Name

If you set a fake name for yourself and want to remove it:

/fakename clear (leave the player field blank)

Using Aliases

You can also use: /fn clear [player]

This command only affects your client—it doesn't change anything server-wide or for other players. If you want to see the real name of someone using a fake name without clearing it, use /realname [fakename] instead to look it up without removing the fake name display.
