Look Up a Player's Real Name When They're Using a Fake Name

Finding the Real Account Name

If a player is displaying a fake name and you need to know their actual username:

1. Open chat

2. Type: /realname [fakename]

3. Replace [fakename] with the name currently displayed above their head or in chat

4. Press Enter

The mod will return the player's real account name in chat.

Using Aliases

You can also use the shorter commands:

• /rn [fakename]
• /rname [fakename]

These all work identically. This command is useful when you need to identify someone for administrative purposes, want to add them as a friend using their real name, or simply need to know who you're actually talking to. The lookup doesn't remove or change their fake name—it just reveals the truth behind the display.
