Color-Coded Fish for Each Effect

The Salmon Hearts Resource Pack uses distinct fish appearances to help you instantly recognize which status effect is affecting you.

Poison Effect: Green-tinted salmon fish appear when you're poisoned. This commonly occurs in swamps, caves with spiders, or when bees attack. The green coloring matches the poison damage visual, making it immediately recognizable.

Wither Effect: Darkened or corrupted-looking fish icons indicate the Wither status. This dangerous effect drains health over time and appears when fighting the Wither boss or affected mobs.

Freezing Effect: Frost or ice-colored fish show when you're frozen. This happens in powder snow blocks or when hit by freeze-based attacks.

Absorption Bonus: Enhanced or glowing fish icons represent temporary extra health from absorption effects, giving you a visual boost indicator.

Quick Recognition

Each effect's fish design is distinct enough that you can identify your status without reading text. This helps during intense moments when you need to react quickly—whether that means finding an antidote, moving away from hazards, or using healing items.
