Prevent Accidental Damage from Respawn Anchor Detonation

Understanding Anchor Safety

Respawn anchors deal damage when detonated in the Overworld or End. The Safe Anchor Mod helps you control *when* this happens by automating the charging process, but you still control the detonation.

Strategic Placement

1. Place anchors at a safe distance from your own position—far enough that you won't catch the blast radius

2. Position them between you and your opponent so the explosion damages them instead

3. Use terrain and blocks as natural barriers to shield yourself from the detonation

Timing Your Detonation

Don't detonate an anchor while standing next to it. Move away after placing and charging, then trigger it when you're at a safe distance. The mod's camera snap helps you reposition quickly after placement.

Multiple Anchors

Set up several charged anchors around your arena. This gives you options: detonate the one closest to your opponent while you stay protected. Stagger your placements so no single anchor catches both of you in its blast.
