Record High-Quality HDR Video with Replay Mod

Set Up Replay Recording with HDR

The mod integrates with Replay Mod to save videos that preserve HDR lighting details.

1. Ensure Replay Mod is installed alongside the HDR mod

2. Start or load a world with your shader pack active

3. Press F9 and navigate to the Replay Mod settings tab

4. Configure your desired video export options

5. Begin recording with Replay Mod as normal

Export Your Recording

1. Stop recording and open the Replay Mod interface

2. Select your replay file

3. Choose export settings—the HDR mod will preserve lighting data during encoding

4. Export the video

The resulting video file will contain the extended color and brightness information from your HDR session. Playback quality depends on your video player and display capabilities. Standard players will show a normal SDR version, while HDR-capable players on supported systems will reveal the full lighting range.

This is particularly effective for showcasing shader effects, time-lapse builds, or cinematic tours where lighting quality matters.
