Capture HDR Screenshots with Full Color Detail

Take a Special HDR Screenshot

The mod lets you save screenshots that preserve the full range of HDR color information, not just what your monitor displays.

1. Position your camera where you want the shot

2. Press F10 to capture an HDR screenshot

3. The image will be saved to your screenshots folder

Understanding HDR Screenshot Files

These special screenshots contain significantly more color and brightness data than standard PNG files. They can be:

• Viewed in HDR-capable applications on supported systems to see the full visual range
• Processed by image editors that support wide color gamuts
• Shared with others who have HDR displays to show the true appearance

Regular image viewers will display them, but won't show the extended color range. The extra detail is still embedded in the file, waiting for compatible software to reveal it. This is useful for showcasing shader work, landscape builds, or comparing lighting across different configurations.
