Configure Monster Spawning in Your World

Accessing Spawn Configuration

After extracting the MythicMobs folder into your server's plugins directory, the random spawns configuration is stored in the MythicMobs plugin files. You can customize which monsters spawn, where they appear, and how frequently.

Basic Configuration

1. Stop your server

2. Navigate to plugins/MythicMobs/ and locate the spawning or configuration files

3. Open the relevant config file with a text editor

4. Adjust spawn rates, biome restrictions, and monster types as desired

5. Save changes and restart the server

Reloading Without Restart

If you make changes and want to test them immediately, use /mm reload in the server console to reload MythicMobs configurations without a full restart.

Testing Spawns

After configuration, explore different biomes to verify monsters spawn as intended. If certain monsters don't appear, check that they're enabled in the config and that you're in appropriate biomes. Adjust spawn rates if encounters feel too frequent or too rare.
