Making Round Trees Work With Other Resource Packs

How Pack Priority Works

Minecraft applies resource packs from the bottom of the Selected list upward, so the pack at the top has the final say on any file it contains. Round Trees edits log block models. If another pack also edits those models, only the top one shows. To keep both packs' features, you need Round Trees above packs that do not touch logs, and you need to resolve conflicts with packs that do.

Building a Compatible Load Order

1. Put Round Trees at or near the top of the Selected list.

2. Below it, place packs that change unrelated things — GUI, sounds, sky, particles — since they will not conflict.

3. If a foliage or biome pack also changes log shapes, decide which look you prefer and place that one higher.

4. Reload by pressing Done, then walk to a forest and inspect trunks from several angles.

When You Cannot Have Both

Some packs bundle log model changes with other edits you want. In that case you cannot merge them without editing files, which is outside normal play. Pick the pack whose tree look you prefer, or keep the other pack for its non-log features and accept square trunks. Test in a fresh area so cached chunks do not confuse your comparison.
