How to Make Your Trees Look Round in Minecraft

Understanding What the Pack Changes

Round Trees Resource Pack replaces the default square trunk models with rounded, cylindrical-looking trunks. It does not add new blocks, items, or recipes — it simply swaps the block models and textures so that logs appear circular when placed. This means you do not need to craft anything special; the change is automatic once the pack is active in your resource pack list.

Steps to See the Effect

1. Open Options, then Resource Packs, and make sure Round Trees is moved to the Selected side and sits above any pack that also edits log models.

2. Load into a world. Existing trees in already-generated chunks will update visually because the pack changes models, not world generation.

3. Place a log block by itself and look at it from above — the top face should now read as a circle rather than a square.

4. Stack logs vertically to confirm the trunk sides look rounded from a distance.

Things to Check If It Looks Wrong

If trunks still look square, another resource pack is overriding the log models. Drag Round Trees above it. If only some wood types look round, that is expected — the pack may not cover every wood variant, so compare oak, spruce, and birch side by side to see which are affected.
