Getting the Most Realistic Forests With Round Trees

What the Pack Does and Does Not Do

Round Trees reshapes trunk models so logs read as cylinders instead of cubes. It does not change leaves, world generation, tree height, or biome layout. That means the realism boost comes from how trunks catch light and read at a distance, especially in dense forests where many trunks are visible at once.

Tips for a More Natural Look

1. Combine Round Trees with packs that soften leaves or add foliage variation, placing Round Trees above them if they also touch logs.

2. Build or explore in forests with tall, closely spaced trees — the rounded trunks read best when many are visible together.

3. View trunks from a low angle at ground level; the circular top face is most obvious when looking slightly upward.

4. Avoid placing logs in tight square patterns for decorative builds, since the rounded shape clashes with hard right angles.

Pairing With Gameplay

Because the pack is visual only, it works in survival, creative, and on servers where the pack is allowed client-side. Use it alongside building projects that feature natural tree lines, tree farms, and forest paths. If a build relies on sharp log corners, switch the pack off temporarily rather than fighting the rounded shape.
