Make the Moon Visible During Daytime

Spotting the Moon in Daylight

Minecraft's vanilla behavior hides the moon during day cycles, and the Round Sun & Moon Resource Pack respects this mechanic. However, you can still observe it under specific conditions.

When the Moon Appears

1. The circular moon is visible during dusk and dawn—the transition periods between day and night

2. Watch the sky during these times to see the round moon fade in or out

3. In the Nether, the moon doesn't appear at all (this is vanilla behavior)

4. The moon is most visible in clear weather—rain and storms may obscure it

Enhancing Moon Visibility

To appreciate the circular moon design more:

• Build an observation platform or tower to get an unobstructed view of the horizon
• Visit during full moon cycles (Minecraft's moon phases cycle naturally)
• Reduce your Gamma setting slightly to make the night sky and moon stand out more against the day sky
• Take screenshots during twilight when both sun and moon may be visible

The pack's circular moon design is most striking during full night cycles when it dominates the starry sky.
