Adjusting Celestial Brightness

The Round Sun & Moon Resource Pack uses standard Minecraft texture files, so brightness is controlled through your game settings rather than pack-specific options.

Steps to Modify Appearance

1. Open your Video Settings from the main menu or pause screen

2. Adjust Brightness to change how the sun and moon glow appears against your sky

3. Modify Gamma settings to make the night sky darker or lighter—this affects how visible the circular moon becomes during night cycles

4. Try Contrast adjustments if your display makes the round sun blend too much with the sky

Resource Pack Priority

If the sun or moon don't appear round, check that this pack is enabled and positioned above other sky-modifying packs in your resource pack list. The pack must load last to override vanilla textures.

For the most dramatic effect, pair these settings with a clear day or night—avoid rain or thunderstorms, which can obscure the circular designs. Test different gamma levels during both day and night cycles to find your preferred look.
