Preparing for Fishing

Craft a fishing rod using sticks and string, or find one in the manor's existing chests. The river surrounding Riverdrift Manor is stocked with fish and offers excellent fishing opportunities. Position yourself on the manor's deck or build a small fishing platform extending into the water.

Fishing Techniques

You'll see bubbles and hear a sound when fish are interested. Reel in by right-clicking when the bobber dips underwater. Fishing yields raw fish, but also enchanted books, saddles, and other valuable loot depending on your luck.

Gathering River Resources

Beyond fishing, the riverbanks offer clay, gravel, and sand. These materials are essential for building and crafting. Collect them during the day when mobs are less active. The river also spawns water plants useful for decoration and certain crafting recipes.

Sustainable Harvesting

Don't over-harvest from one area—spread your gathering across different sections of the river. This allows resources to regenerate naturally. Store your gathered materials in the manor's chests, organized by type for easy access during building projects.
