What the Ribbits Mod Adds

Ribbits is a small swamp-themed mod that expands the wetlands biome with new flora, building materials, and a family of frog-like villagers called Ribbits.

The mod introduces several Ribbit mob variants, each with a distinct role: Fisherman, Gardener, Merchant, Nitwit, and Sorcerer. These variants suggest different behaviors or trades, similar to how vanilla villagers specialize, though the exact mechanics depend on the mod itself.

On the building side, the mod adds mossy oak blocks, including planks, stairs, slabs, fences, fence gates, and doors, giving players a weathered wood set suited to swamp builds. Flora includes Brown and Red Toadstool Blocks, Toadstool and Toadstool Stem, Lush Lily Pad, Swamp Daisy, Umbrella Leaf, and the light-emitting Swamp Lantern.

A Maraca item is also included, along with spawn eggs for each Ribbit variant. Together these pieces let players populate and decorate swamp environments with matching mobs and materials.
