Make Your World Look Consistently Retro

Enable the Resource Pack in Your World

Once installed, the Retrograde Vision Resource Pack won't apply automatically. You need to activate it per world or globally.

1. Open your world or create a new one

2. Press Esc and go to Settings → Resource Packs

3. Find Retrograde Vision in the available packs list

4. Click the arrow to move it into the Active column on the right

5. Drag it to the top of the active list for priority

6. Close settings and rejoin your world

Combine with Connected Textures (Optional)

For the best retro look, pair this pack with a connected texture mod. This makes classic-style glass, redstone, and other blocks connect seamlessly like they did in older versions.

• Install a connected texture mod (such as Continuity or CTM-compatible alternatives)
• Ensure Retrograde Vision loads *after* the connected texture mod in your resource pack order
• Rejoin your world to see connected textures apply

The pack works standalone, but connected textures enhance the authentic pre-1.14 feel significantly. Your utility blocks, decorative elements, and terrain will feel more cohesive and nostalgic.
