Transmutation Stone

The Transmutation Stone is the tool that performs transmutation. Where the Transmutation Shard supplies the potential for a conversion, the stone is what you use to actually carry the exchange out.

Using the stone, you select a material you want to convert and a material you want it to become, then apply the transmutation. The stone handles the conversion and consumes the required shards in the process. This makes the stone the central item of the mod: it is the interface through which all material-to-material conversion happens.

The stone itself is not consumed by transmutation; it is reused for every conversion. Only the shards are spent. To keep transmuting, you need a steady supply of shards alongside the stone. The specific conversions available and their costs are defined by the mod's transmutation process, so experiment with the stone to see which materials can be exchanged.
