Viewing the Dragon Egg in Your World

Finding and Observing the Updated Model

Once the resource pack is active, the dragon egg will display with its new detailed model whenever you encounter it in the End dimension or in Creative mode.

To see the changes:

1. Load a world or create a new one with the resource pack enabled

2. Travel to the End dimension (through the End portal)

3. Look for the dragon egg on top of the exit portal after defeating the Ender Dragon

4. Observe the improved geometry and shading compared to the default cubic appearance

Checking the Inventory Icon

The pack also updates how the dragon egg appears in your inventory and item frames.

To view the new texture:

1. Obtain a dragon egg (Creative mode or by defeating the dragon)

2. Place it in your inventory or hotbar

3. Look at the item icon—it now displays the new 2D texture instead of the default flat appearance

4. The icon will also appear updated when viewing the egg in item frames or on the ground

The visual refresh applies automatically to all dragon eggs in your world once the pack is loaded.
