What Reterraforged Changes

Reterraforged Mod is a terrain generation mod for Minecraft. Its goal is to make the world feel more realistic and immersive rather than purely decorative. Instead of only adding new biomes, it reworks how the landscape itself is shaped, so the terrain you walk across is the main feature.

Core Mechanics

Three improvements define the experience. Custom terrain shapes replace the flatter, more uniform vanilla landscape with more varied elevation. Simulated erosion softens and blends slopes so they read as naturally weathered rather than blocky. Rivers are reworked to follow more believable paths and carve through the terrain more convincingly. New decorations are also scattered through the world for players to find while exploring.

Platform Availability

Reterraforged is built for Minecraft: Java Edition. It is not available for Bedrock Edition, so players on that platform cannot use it. Because it changes world generation, it applies to newly created worlds rather than existing ones.
