Why a Link Might Not Be Clickable

If you see a web address in chat but can't click it, check these common issues:

Link Format Problems:

• The URL must include the protocol (http:// or https://)
• Incomplete or malformed URLs may not be detected
• Very long URLs might be truncated by chat display limits

Browser Issues:

• Ensure you have a default web browser set on your system
• Some browsers may require permission to open from external applications
• Check your firewall or security software isn't blocking the link

Verify the Mod is Active

1. Check that Restore Chat Links Mod is installed and enabled in your mod loader

2. Restart your game if you recently added the mod

3. Test with a known good link (like https://minecraft.net)

If links still don't work, the issue is likely a system-level browser configuration rather than the mod itself. Manually copying and pasting the URL into your browser is always an alternative.
