Troubleshooting Restore Block Lines When Block Outlines Do Not Change

You installed the pack, but blocks still show altered or colored borders. Work through these checks in order before assuming the pack is broken.

Basic Checks First

Confirm Restore Block Lines appears in the selected (right-hand) column of the Resource Packs screen, not the available column. If it is only available, it is not active. Next, confirm it sits above any pack that modifies block lines, since load order decides which texture wins. Apply changes and let the game finish reloading before judging the result.

Look for a Competing Pack

Another resource pack may be supplying its own block line textures at a higher priority. Disable other packs temporarily, leaving only Restore Block Lines active, and check a block edge. If the lines are now vanilla, re-enable packs one at a time until the colored lines return, then move Restore Block Lines above that pack.

If Nothing Works

Make sure you are looking at the right blocks, since not every block uses a border line texture. Also verify the pack file itself is intact and correctly placed in your resource packs folder. If a single pack keeps overriding it no matter the order, that pack likely bundles the same textures and must be adjusted or removed for the vanilla look to show.
