Using Spectator Mode After Death

How It Works

When you die, Respawn Delay Mod places you in spectator mode instead of immediately showing the death screen. This gives you time to observe your surroundings, locate landmarks, and identify what killed you before respawning.

You'll receive countdown messages showing how much time remains before automatic respawn. Use this window to scout the area where your items will drop, making it easier to retrieve them after you respawn.

For Server Administrators

Server admins can customize all in-game messages to fit their server's style. The mod also provides a /respawnall command to force all spectating players to respawn at once, useful for coordinating events or managing PvP tournaments.

This makes Respawn Delay useful beyond casual survival—it's a practical tool for event management and server administration.
