How to Open and Use a Resource Pack's Config Menu In-Game
Finding the config button
Once a Respackopts-compatible resource or data pack is enabled, it exposes its own settings menu. Open the resource pack selection screen the way you normally would, then look for the Respackopts config control attached to the pack entry — it appears as a button or gear-style icon next to packs that ship a config file. Clicking it opens that pack's dedicated options screen instead of toggling the pack on or off.
Working through the options
Inside the menu you'll see the controls the pack author defined: toggles, sliders, dropdowns, and text fields. Change whatever you want, then confirm. Settings are saved per pack, so you can revisit the menu later and your choices persist. If a pack has no config button, it simply doesn't ship a Respackopts config — nothing is broken.
When changes don't appear
Some options only take effect after the pack is reloaded. Trigger a resource reload (the standard reload keybind) or re-enter the world so the new values are parsed. Because Respackopts caches its parsing and computations, the first load after a change may be slower than subsequent ones — that's expected, not a failure. If a setting seems ignored, confirm the pack is actually enabled and that you edited the correct pack's menu, since multiple packs each have their own screen.
