How to Get Respackopts Working Alongside Shader Packs
The integration, in plain terms
Respackopts integrates with Frex, Canvas, and Fabulous shaders so that pack options and shader behavior don't fight each other. In practice this means a Respackopts-configured pack can coexist with your shader setup, and shader-related options can be surfaced through the same config-menu system rather than requiring separate manual edits.
Order of operations
Set up your shader pack first and confirm it renders correctly on its own. Then enable your Respackopts-compatible resource or data pack and open its config menu to adjust any shader-facing options it exposes. Change one thing at a time and reload resources between changes, so you can tell which setting caused a visual difference. If something looks wrong, disable the Respackopts pack to check whether the shader alone is fine — that isolates whether the conflict is in the pack config or the shader itself.
If things look off
Remember that Respackopts caches parsing and computations; the first load after a config change is the slow one, and a brief hitch there is normal. Persistent visual problems usually trace back to an incompatible option combination rather than the integration failing. Revert to defaults in the pack's menu, confirm the baseline renders, then reintroduce your changes gradually. Not every pack exposes shader options — if the menu has none, the pack simply doesn't use that part of the integration.
