How to Update Installed Resource Packs Automatically

Why Updates Matter

Resource packs installed through Resourcify are tied to specific versions on Modrinth or CurseForge. When a pack author releases a fix or adds support for new content, your installed copy won't change on its own. Resourcify gives you a one-click way to pull those updates without leaving the game.

Running the Update Check

Go to Options → Resource Packs. Near the + button in the top-right corner you'll find the update button added by Resourcify. Click it to scan all packs you installed through the mod and compare them against the latest versions available on their source platform.

Applying the Updates

If updates are found, Resourcify shows you which packs have newer versions. Confirm the update and the mod downloads and replaces the old files. Once finished, return to the Resource Packs screen and make sure your selected packs are still active—occasionally an updated pack needs to be re-selected if the file name changed. Press Done to reload.

Things to Watch For

Packs you added manually (by dropping files into the resourcepacks folder yourself) are not tracked by Resourcify and won't be updated by this button. Only packs installed through the in-game browser are managed. If an update fails, check that the pack still exists on its source platform and that a compatible version for your game version has been published.
