How to Switch Between Modrinth and CurseForge Sources

The Source Dropdown

Resourcify pulls content from two platforms: Modrinth and CurseForge. When you open the in-game browser—either from the + button on the Resource Packs screen or the + button on the Shaders screen—you'll see a dropdown menu at the top of the browser window. This dropdown controls which platform you're currently searching.

Switching Platforms

Click the dropdown and select the platform you want. The listing refreshes and now shows only content from that source. Your search term is cleared, so retype it if you were looking for something specific. Note that a pack available on one platform may not exist on the other, or may be published there by a different uploader with different versions—so if a search comes up empty, try the other source before giving up.

Practical Tips

Modrinth tends to be the primary source for many modern packs and shaders, while CurseForge hosts a large back catalogue. If you're following a tutorial that links to a specific platform, switch the dropdown to match so you find the exact pack being shown. Installed packs remember which platform they came from, so the update button checks each pack against its original source. You can freely mix packs from both platforms in your game; the source only matters for browsing and updating.
