Resourcify Mod FAQ

10 questions players actually ask, answered.

How do I open the Resourcify browser?
Open the Resource Packs screen in your game settings and click the + button in the top-right corner. For shaders, open the Shaders menu and press the + button there instead.
Where do I install shaders with this mod?
Shaders are handled separately from resource packs. Go to the Shaders menu (you need a shader loader like Iris or OptiFine installed) and click the + button to browse and install shader packs.
Can I install packs from CurseForge too, or only Modrinth?
Both are supported. Use the dropdown menu in the browser to switch between the Modrinth and CurseForge sources, then browse and install from whichever you prefer.
How do I update my installed resource packs?
There is a button near the + button in the Resource Packs screen that automatically updates your installed packs. Click it and Resourcify checks for and applies newer versions.
Do I need to restart the game after installing a pack?
No restart is needed. Resourcify installs and applies packs directly in-game, so you can enable them from the Resource Packs list right away.
Can I see what a pack looks like before installing it?
Yes. The browser shows each pack's description, gallery images, and version info before you commit to installing it.
Why isn't my newly installed pack showing up in the Resource Packs list?
Make sure you actually enabled it after installing—Resourcify downloads it, but you still move it to the selected side in the Resource Packs screen. If it's still missing, check that the pack version matches your game version.
Does Resourcify work with shaders on its own?
No, Resourcify only handles browsing and installing shader packs. You still need a shader loader such as Iris or OptiFine for the shaders to actually run.
Can I use Resourcify on a server or with other players?
Resource packs and shaders are client-side, so Resourcify works fine on servers. Other players won't see your packs unless the server enforces its own resource pack.
Will having many packs installed through Resourcify hurt my performance?
Resourcify itself is lightweight; performance depends on the packs you enable, not the mod. Keep only the packs you're actively using enabled to avoid unnecessary load.
