How to Tell Whether Resourceful Lib Is Actually Working in Your Modpack
What to Look For
Resourceful Lib does not add blocks, items, or a creative tab you can browse. It works silently in the background, so "is it installed?" is a common question. The reliable way to confirm it is loaded is to check the mod list, not the world.
Checking the Mod List
1. From the main menu, open the mods screen (the button label varies by loader).
2. Search for "Resourceful Lib". It should appear with its own entry, separate from the mods that depend on it.
3. Confirm the version shown is the one you placed in the mods folder.
If it appears in the list, the library loaded successfully. If a dependent mod also appears without a red error marker, the dependency was satisfied.
Indirect Signs It Is Active
Because the library powers features like custom selection outlines, screen history, and networking between client and server, you will notice it indirectly:
- Mods that use its highlight API show non-cube selection boxes when you look at their blocks.
- Mods using its screen manager let you navigate back through nested menus with a back action.
- Multiplayer features from dependent mods sync correctly between client and server.
If a dependent mod's special visuals or menus are missing entirely, that is a stronger signal something is wrong than the library's own absence.
