How to Change a Mod's Settings with Resourceful Config

Once you have the Resourceful Config screen open for a mod, actually editing values is straightforward. The interface is designed so you never have to guess at valid input.

Editing Values

1. Locate the option you want using the category tabs or the search box.

2. Interact with its control:

  • Toggle — click to switch between enabled and disabled.
  • Slider — drag to pick a number within the allowed range.
  • Text field — click and type; the field rejects values outside the permitted range or format.
  • Dropdown / list — click to choose from the valid options the mod defines.

3. Watch for inline validation. If a value is invalid, the screen typically flags it rather than letting you save a broken config.

4. Repeat for any other options you want to adjust.

Saving and Applying

  • Press the save/confirm button to write your changes. Resourceful Config stores them in the mod's config file for you.
  • Some settings apply the moment you save; others are marked as requiring a restart. If a change seems to have no effect, restart the game before assuming it failed.
  • To undo, reopen the screen and either set the value back manually or use any reset-to-default control the option provides.

Because the interface only offers valid choices, you can experiment freely without corrupting the config file.
