How to Find Repurposed Structures Villages in Every Biome

Understanding Biome-Specific Villages

Repurposed Structures replaces the single vanilla village look with biome-themed variants. Instead of one oak-and-cobblestone style, you will encounter villages built from the materials native to each biome, so a jungle village uses jungle wood and vines while a badlands village uses terracotta and sandstone. This means the fastest way to find them is to travel across biome borders rather than staying in one area.

Practical Search Steps

1. Pick a direction and walk or fly until you cross into a new biome type. Villages spawn based on biome tags, so each new biome is a fresh roll.

2. Use a boat along coastlines or a horse on plains to cover ground quickly. Villages are common enough that you should spot one within a few minutes of biome-hopping.

3. Bring a bed and food so you can set up a temporary camp and explore outward in a spiral from each biome you enter.

4. If you have access to commands, the locate command for the village structure type will point you to the nearest one, but note that the mod may register its villages under the same structure ID as vanilla, so results can mix.

What to Expect Inside

Loot tables are adjusted per variant, so a desert village may lean toward emeralds and sandstone while a snowy one favors furs and ice-related trades. Villager professions and workstation blocks still function normally, so you can set up trading halls in any variant you find.
