How to Customize or Disable Repurposed Structures with Datapacks

Why Customize

Repurposed Structures is designed to be configurable through datapacks, letting you turn off specific structures or change how often they appear. This is useful if you want only the village variants, or if you want to remove a structure that conflicts with another mod.

Finding the Datapack Files

1. Open your world folder and locate the datapacks directory.

2. The mod generates its structure data under a namespace tied to the mod. You can copy the default structure JSON files from the mod's data folder into your own datapack to edit them.

3. Each structure has a file that controls its spawn biomes, spacing, separation, and salt. Editing the biome tag list lets you restrict where it appears; removing the file or setting its weight to zero disables it.

Applying Changes

After editing, run the reload command in-game or restart the world. Use the locate command to confirm the structure still generates where you expect. If you are on a server, place the datapack in the world's datapacks folder on the server side only, since clients do not need the mod installed to see the structures. Always back up your world before editing structure files, because a malformed JSON can prevent structures from generating entirely.
