How to Troubleshoot Missing Copper Golems or Beekeepers in Villages

If the New Content Is Not Showing Up

Sometimes players install the compat mod and still see plain villages. This is usually a generation or dependency issue rather than a bug.

Checks to Run

1. Verify all three mods are present: Repurposed Structures, Friends and Foes, and this compat mod. The compat mod does nothing on its own.

2. Remember that world generation changes only apply to newly generated chunks. Villages you explored before installing will not gain Copper Golems or beekeepers.

3. Load a brand-new world or travel far enough to load fresh chunks, then find a village there.

4. Confirm the village is actually a Repurposed Structures village — vanilla villages are not the target of this compat mod.

5. Check that mob spawning is not disabled by another mod or a game rule affecting the area.

When It Still Does Not Work

Spawns are not guaranteed in every single village, so check more than one before assuming failure. If beekeepers are absent but their workstation exists, an unemployed villager can still claim the block. If nothing appears across many fresh RS villages, review your mod list for conflicts that alter village or mob spawning.
