Harvesting Swamp Trees Efficiently
Gather Your Tools
Bring an axe (any material) to speed up wood breaking, and a sword or shears for leaves. A pickaxe isn't necessary but can be useful for clearing blocks. Bring a stack of saplings to replant immediately after harvesting.
Fell the Tree Strategically
1. Start from the bottom and work upward
2. Break the trunk first to expose the canopy
3. Collect all wood blocks—swamp trees often have irregular trunks with multiple branches
4. Use shears on leaves to collect them without breaking them into particles (optional, for aesthetics)
Collect Saplings and Resources
As leaves decay or are broken, they'll drop saplings and sticks. Gather these immediately to replant and maintain your farm's productivity. Swamp trees typically yield more saplings than regular oaks due to their larger canopy.
Replant Immediately
To keep your farm running smoothly, replant saplings in the harvested spots right away. This ensures continuous growth cycles and maintains a steady resource supply.
