Getting Started with Repeater Sound Mod

Basic Setup

Repeater Sound Mod adds audible feedback to redstone components. Once installed, repeaters, comparators, redstone wire, and daylight detectors will emit click sounds when they change state or are adjusted.

Sounds automatically adjust based on block behavior: repeater pitch reflects delay settings, wire pitch varies with shape, and daylight detector pitch changes with mode. You can customize pitch, volume, and random pitch offsets globally through mod settings.

The mod offers three interaction modes: NORMAL for standard gameplay, ALARM for enhanced alerts with optional chat messages, and DISABLED to prevent block interactions. Use chat commands to fine-tune alarm messages for specific redstone setups. This creates a more tactile redstone-building experience while helping you monitor complex circuits by ear.
