Removing the Terralith Intro Message Without Breaking World Generation

Why this mod is the safe option

Terralith's intro message is cosmetic — it is just a chat line telling you the datapack/mod is active. Players sometimes try to remove it by editing Terralith itself, deleting its data files, or stripping its pack.mcmeta, which risks breaking biome and terrain generation. This companion mod exists precisely so you do not have to touch Terralith.

Safe approach

1. Keep Terralith installed and untouched.

2. Add this mod alongside it in the same mods folder.

3. Do not edit, rename, or delete anything inside the Terralith jar or its datapack folder.

4. Do not remove Terralith's datapack from the world's datapacks folder to silence the message — that disables the actual world generation content.

5. If you previously edited Terralith files while troubleshooting, reinstall a clean copy of Terralith before adding this mod, so you are starting from an unmodified base.

Verifying nothing broke

Generate a test world and confirm you still get Terralith terrain — look for its distinctive tall peaks, unusual biome blends, and non-vanilla biome names. If terrain looks vanilla, the problem is your Terralith install, not this mod.
