Making Potion Effects Less Distracting Without Losing the HUD Icons
Understand What You Keep
This pack only removes the swirling particle texture. Everything that actually tells you what is happening stays: the effect icons in the top-right of your screen, their countdown timers, the beacon beam, and the colored outline on a beacon's active effect. You lose the visual noise around your character, not the information.
Tuning Your Setup Around It
1. Enable the pack and confirm the swirls are gone while the HUD icons remain. If the icons vanished too, you have a different pack or mod selected, not this one.
2. If you still find the screen busy, reduce other particle types separately. Minecraft's Video Settings has a Particles option that scales down most non-essential particles globally. Lowering it stacks with this pack for a very clean view.
3. For building and redstone work, this combination is the practical one: keep Particles on a low setting and leave this pack enabled, so potion effects never obscure block edges or redstone dust you are placing.
4. For PvP, keep the HUD icons visible so you can still read your own effect timers, but the removed swirls mean you can see opponents' outlines and armor more clearly.
When You Want Them Back
Simply move the pack out of the Selected column. No world changes are made, so it is fully reversible at any time.
